Campsite Photos: Nelson Dewey State Park

I'm going to be trying out a new series of posts on my blog in hopes to make booking campsites at our fascinating state and national parks a much easier and stress-free task. ReserveAmerica.com and Recreation.gov while both websites are packed with useful information about campsites, sadly lack big, quality images of where you're dreaming of pitching a tent or parking a camper. Plus, we all know that bagging that perfect, ideal campsite is makes a great trip even more special.

Since I've been spending almost every weekend this past year exploring a new Wisco state park, I've kept track of my favorite and what I think are the best electric, non-electric, backpacking, walk-to campsites. Let's start with Nelson Dewey State Park, located on the western side of Wisconsin along the Mississippi River.

For reference, this is a full map of the campground.
Make a reservation at Nelson Dewey here.

Stay tuned for more campsite photos from more state parks.
I hope you too, get out and explore this wonderful place.

Thank you! These are so helpful and what a wonderful idea. Quick question, in photo A, what site number is this?
